In the Book of Breaking the Two Desires (Kitab kasr al-shahwatayn) from the Ihya ‘Ulum ud-Din from imam al-Ghazali – may Allah have mercy on him – we find the following statement (taken from the English translation by T.J. Winter, pp. 165, 166): “Ibn ‘Abbas understood His word (Exalted is He!), wa-min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab to refer to ‘the erection of the male member’. A certain Traditionist has traced back to the Emissary of God (may God bless him and grant him peace) the saying [interpreting the same verse], ‘The male member when it enters.'”
The words wa-min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab are from surat al-Falaq (113, aya 3) of the Qur’an. I tried to find this tafsir on www.altafsir.com in the English translation of the tafsir that is acribed to Ibn ‘Abbas “Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs” but this website keeps silent about it. This would be the first source to look at in my opinion, sadly enough I can’t read the Arabic version. May be it is a saying from Ibn ‘Abbas that is quoted in another tafsir, w’Allahu ‘alam.
